Well, my cat has officially gone on strike and refuses to cooperate with the Kimmy Cam anymore… So now I bring you…

Happy Earth Hour!

I am sitting in the dark making a post from my phone.

Today I went to a relativley new grocery store in my area and was amazed. I think they actually have everything. Including Mouse Pastrys.

I have no idea what a Mouse Pastry is but I plan on finding out.

In regards to Earth Hour I will make a special post tomorrow about it Enjoy the darkness!

9 MONTHS TILL CHRISTMAS! (Yes, that is a scary thought)

This is how I always mark the arrival of Spring:

Our guests have arrived. These exact two ducks return to our yard every spring. They haven’t usually stayed very long in the past, last year being an exception:

Last year they stayed from early April until early June! Here’s to them staying a little longer this year.

There’s a very pretty church near my house on top of a hill:

I don’t know why but I’ve never been into it. And I’ve only heard the bells maybe four or five times. I’ll have to venture there soon. It’s highly mysterious. Speaking of mysterious:

I laughed at this image from last night’s Simpsons for quite some time. Maybe its just funny because I’m a U2 fan but still. HEHEHEHE.

Happy First Day of Spring!

Anyone who has Facebook is far from oblivious about the recent layout change. In fact, most are opposed to it. This is a screenshot I took of a vote on the new layout on Tuesday March 17th at 1P.M.

I know it’s small but it reads:

6,026     For the new layout
73,303 Against the new layout

And here is a screenshot of the same vote, taken at 12:15 P.M today:

This lead me to create the following list.

How to piss people off according to Facebook in 18 (so far) simple steps:

1)  Create something that people would be interested in.
2)  Make it addicting.
3)  Get people addicted.
4)  Get lots of people addicted.
5)  Enchance product to make it easier to get more people addicted
6)  Abruptly, for no reason, change layout of product.
7)  Ignore critisisms.
8)  Remove option to switch between layouts.
9)  Ignore critisisms.
10) Wait.
11) Change policies to something unreasonable.
12) Wait for mass reaction.
13) Reverse change of policy and ask people to help fix it.
14) Wait for them to feel secure.
15) Change layout again, just as people stop complaining about the last change.
16) Ignore critisisms.
17) Revel in the fact that most people are too attached to leave.
18) Laugh.

P.S:

Every family has a crazy one. In my family, we’re all crazy but there is one who stands out above the rest.

Observe this very casual everyday note written from my sister to my mom. If you’re paying attention you’ll see that there’s something wrong with it.

Before I get down to business, I just wanted to say how awesome it is that the 42nd post is being made on St. Patrick’s Day. This is made of awesome.

I thought I would post a couple pictures from my visit to Ireland in 2006 for the occasion. Very few pictures survived this trip due to camera issues. The issues being the only person who owned a camera at the time was slacking and most of the pictures were ones I stole the camera to take.

One thing about Ireland is the MASSIVE  number of sheep that roam free, EVERYWHERE. Just FYI, if you chase them they get very angry.

Here is one sheep keeing an eye on me while I grab a picture of the hillside. They frighten me.

Kimmy Cam

The following picture is a little warped but is still interesting.

If you look carefully, you can see part of a stray cat. I have never seen Kimmy go anywhere near this cat, so this is veeeeery interesting.
